Hi, I'm Rad Drew.
For more than 20 years I have worked across photojournalism, landscape, fine art, and other forms of photography using both traditional and mobile cameras. My work has been exhibited around the world, and my writing has appeared in PSA Journal, PhotoPXL, Luminous Landscape, The App Whisperer, and through the Royal Photographic Society. I am also a frequent presenter for camera clubs, conferences, Out of Chicago, Madeline Island School of the Arts, the Garden Club of America, Jackie Kramer’s Phlorography groups, and more. I’ve led workshops throughout the USA as well as Cuba, Cape Cod, Molokai, France, Tuscany, and Calabria.
My teaching is practical, accessible, and grounded in a 30-year background designing instruction for adults. I want students to understand not only what to do, but why it matters—and how to make it their own.
Frequently Asked Questions

It also works very well on iPad if you want a larger mobile workspace. Adobe’s current Lightroom Mobile documentation provides the same masking workflow structure across iOS and Android.
No. While I often work in RAW and RAW does provide more creative flexibility, Lightroom Mobile is also very effective with JPG and HEIF files.
Yes. Students who already know Lightroom Classic may feel some familiarity, but Lightroom Mobile is also an excellent place to begin if you are new to Lightroom.
No. This course focuses on Lightroom Mobile. If you want a course on the full Adobe Lightroom ecosystem or desktop syncing workflows, this course is not designed for that.
Yes. Masking is one of the central strengths of Lightroom Mobile, and Adobe continues to position masking and Quick Actions/Actions as key parts of the app’s editing workflow.
You receive the recorded webinar, a PDF of the presentation slides, and links to additional resources included in the slides.
